Device Overview

The Victron VM-3P75CT is an energy meter for Victron-based systems that need fast local measurements without replacing the main conductors. It measures single-phase, split-phase, and three-phase applications, then reports per-phase values through VE.Can or Ethernet.

Energy-Meter Fit

The supplied split-core CTs make it useful where a direct-connected meter is not the right choice. Victron documents 75 A rated current and up to 80 A RMS per phase, with roles including grid metering for ESS, PV-inverter output metering, AC genset metering, AC-load metering, EV-charger tracking, and heat-pump tracking.

Communication And Cloud

The meter can connect locally to a GX device over VE.Can or through Ethernet / Modbus UDP. VRM Portal is useful for remote monitoring, but the core metering path is local. Accuracy class and Home Assistant support are intentionally left blank until field-grade official evidence is verified.
