Acrel DJSF1352-RN/D-P1 is a DIN-rail DC energy meter for systems where the measured circuit is DC rather than AC. Typical uses include photovoltaic DC circuits, battery systems, DC charging equipment, telecom power systems, UPS/DC panels and other installations that need local readings plus wired data access.

Core Features

The official DJSF1352-RN documentation describes two DC measurement channels, an LCD, Class 1 accuracy, forward and reverse energy registers, RS-485 communication, Modbus RTU and DL/T 645. In this option code, D denotes dual DC inputs and P1 denotes a 24 V or 48 V DC auxiliary supply.

Installation And Measurement

This is not an AC phase meter. Acrel documents a DC 0-1000 V voltage-input range. Current is measured through an external 0-75 mV shunt or a Hall-sensor signal such as 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA, 0-5 V or 0-10 V. The installer must select and configure the correct sensor ratio for the circuit.

The reviewed RN/D-P1 sources do not publish one fixed maximum primary-current value. Acrel's separate DJSF1352-D page lists 300 A and 600 A direct-current-input versions; those figures should not be transferred to RN/D-P1. Confirm the exact option code, shunt or Hall sensor, current ratio, voltage range and auxiliary supply before procurement.

Compatibility And Data Access

Core metering is local and does not require an Acrel cloud service. RS-485 Modbus RTU can feed a controller, SCADA system, gateway or Home Assistant deployment. Home Assistant compatibility is generic and conditional: it requires suitable RS-485 hardware plus manual register configuration, not a native Acrel integration.

Solar And Bidirectional Use

Forward and reverse DC energy registers can distinguish energy direction in suitable PV, battery and charging applications. This is monitoring capability; it does not mean that the meter controls an inverter or enforces export limits.

Acrel provides official product pages, a manual and a quote/contact route, but no public checkout price was verified on 2026-09-07 CST. Distributor availability, certification and included options vary by market. The current MCP schema cannot clear a numeric field by sending null, so the legacy 300 A comparison scalar remains a tracked admin cleanup item and should be treated as unverified.
