Communication And Integration

For local systems, the RS485 /C option exposes Modbus RTU. Acrel also lists optional Wi-Fi, 4G, NB-IoT, LoRa, and LoRaWAN communication variants. Home Assistant support should be understood as standards-based Modbus polling through compatible RS485 hardware, not as an Acrel-native Home Assistant integration.

Choose ADW300 when a project needs three-phase CT-input metering with richer electrical-parameter visibility than a simple kWh meter. Confirm the exact communication suffix, CT ratio, local certification needs, and cloud/wireless requirements before purchase, because ADW300 is a configurable product family rather than a single fixed kit.
