Device Overview

Acrel ADL200 is a single-phase DIN-rail electric meter for low-voltage active-energy measurement. It fits sub-metering, light commercial panels, equipment circuits, and energy-management systems that need local RS485 Modbus data instead of an app-first consumer monitor.

Core Specifications

Official Acrel sources list AC220 V reference voltage, 10(80) A input current, Class 1 measuring accuracy, pulse output, RS485 Modbus RTU, and measurement of voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, frequency, and energy.

Installation and Compatibility

The ADL200 is a DIN35 rail direct-connect meter. Because it is not a CT-clamp meter, buyers should confirm circuit current, wiring direction, enclosure space, and installer requirements before using it for a panel or sub-metering project. Local integration is through Modbus RTU over RS485; Home Assistant support should be treated as standards-based Modbus polling through compatible RS485 hardware.

Solar and Import/Export Context

The manual includes positive and negative active energy records, so the meter can support bidirectional energy visibility where wiring and Modbus mapping are configured correctly. It should not be treated as a solar inverter, battery, EV charger, or gateway device.
