Device overview

Acrel ADL10-E is a slim single-phase DIN-rail electric energy meter for low-voltage AC circuits. It is best suited to sub-metering, small distribution boards, equipment-level metering, and energy-management panels where a compact 18 mm meter is enough.

Core specifications

The official Acrel source set lists AC220 V reference voltage, 10 A basic current, 60 A maximum current, Class 1 measuring accuracy, and measurement of voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, frequency, and energy.

Installation and metering fit

ADL10-E is a direct-connected single-phase meter, so it does not use external CT clamps for the 10(60) A configuration. The manual documents DIN35 rail installation and direct wiring, making it a compact fit for lower-current circuits rather than high-current CT installations.

Communication and integrations

The communication variant supports RS485 Modbus RTU and DL/T645-07. That makes the meter suitable for local gateways, EMS, SCADA, PLC, or automation systems. Home Assistant use should be treated as standards-based Modbus polling through suitable RS485 hardware, not as an Acrel-native cloud integration.

Solar and import/export context

Acrel documentation supports positive and reverse active-energy records. That can be useful for import/export visibility when the meter is installed at the right point in a solar or sub-metering system, but the ADL10-E itself is not a solar inverter or solar controller.

Buying notes

Acrel provides an official product page, PDF/manual route, product imagery, and quote/contact path. No direct public checkout price was verified in this maintenance pass, so local distributor availability and exact communication-option availability should be confirmed before specifying it.
