Wallbox Pulsar Max is a compact AC home charger for European and UK installations. This record covers the current Type 2 family with 7.4 kW single-phase, 11 kW three-phase, and 22 kW three-phase variants. The comparison value uses the family maximum of 22 kW; not every installation or vehicle can accept that output.
Core specifications

Phase and power matter when comparing chargers. A 22 kW unit needs a suitable three-phase supply and a vehicle whose onboard charger accepts that rate. Single-phase supplies and lower vehicle AC limits reduce actual charging power.
Installation
Pulsar Max is wall mounted for indoor or outdoor use and is rated IP55 and IK10. A qualified installer must connect it to a correctly protected circuit and set the current limit for the chosen model, cable, building supply and local rules.
Solar charging and load management
Static load management is included. Dynamic load management and Solar Charging are optional functions requiring a compatible external Wallbox power meter. Solar Charging can use solar surplus only or combine solar and grid energy. Wallbox states that Solar Charging is not compatible with multiple-charger installations or OCPP operation, an important design constraint for shared or managed sites.
Connectivity and cloud boundary
Basic installed charging can operate without cloud access. Wallbox app and Portal services support remote monitoring, schedules, updates and connected energy-management workflows, while Bluetooth supports nearby setup. The reviewed official sources do not document a general-purpose local LAN API.
OCPP
The current official datasheet lists OCPP as an external communication interface but does not state a version, so this page does not infer one. OCPP deployment requires a compatible central system and cannot be combined with Solar Charging under the reviewed guidance.
Best fit
Pulsar Max suits homes and small sites that want Type 2 charging, up to 22 kW three-phase headroom, optional solar-surplus charging and dynamic load management. Before buying, verify supply phase, vehicle AC limit, connector format, meter compatibility, cable length and regional SKU.

- Solar Charging and dynamic load management need an external compatible meter.
